A Dojang For Every Age, Est. Concept 2026

Discipline
in motion.

Traditional Taekwondo instruction built around the five tenets — courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control, and an indomitable spirit. From first bow to black belt.

The Five Tenets

What we train into every student

General Choi Hong Hi codified five tenets as the moral backbone of Taekwondo. We open every class by naming one.

  1. 01

    Ye Ui 예의 — Courtesy

Show respect and consideration for others, on and off the mat.

  2. 02

    Yom Chi 염치 — Integrity

Know right from wrong, and stand by it even when no one is watching.

  3. 03

    In Nae 인내 — Perseverance

Push through difficulty until practice quietly becomes progress.

  4. 04

    Guk Gi 극기 — Self-Control

Master your reactions before you ever master your kicks.

  5. 05

Baekjul Boolgool 백절불굴 — Indomitable Spirit

Get back up every time the mat puts you down. No exceptions.
